I used to be one of those guys who threw around the N word frequently. Almost every time I would get mad at somebody or just play around with them, I would say, "N word please" or "come on N word" and act like it was not a big deal....

But he also made some controversial statements about black athletes when it comes to relationships. Simmons thought Mark Jones, the ESPN reporter interviewing the draft selections, should have asked a few...

Rory McIllroy put on a clinic at Congressional. No one could stop him from the minute he stepped onto the greens in Bethesda. His 16 under score was the lowest in U.S. Open History!! Not even Tiger Woods could do that. But thats where the comparisons stop. Yes, McIllroy played...

Lebron James was so close to proving everyone wrong. He had made it to the Finals in the first year of the Big Three(James, Wade, and Bosh). That was something that he put on himself to do, as he made the statement that they would win 7 titles during the...

Dallas was up by seven early in the fourth quarter. They were hitting three pointers like they were layups, hitting 13 of 19 on the night. Dallas surely would pull away and win easy because Wade, the only guy with a pulse in the fourth, was hobbled. Wrong. The Mavericks got...

" You have to let sleeping dogs lie sometimes." Those were the words of Chris Bosh in response to the comments made by Jason Terry who called out Lebron James and the Heat's defense before Tuesday's Game 4. Well Terry and company must have woken up, even with a sick...

Chris Bosh's play has been erratic so these playoffs, but maybe coming home was the remedy he needed to have a breakout game. While Bosh didn't explode for 35 like he has in previous games, the former Texas high school star stepped up big in Game 3 of the NBA...

Dirk Nowitzki made the cardinal sin of letting his opponent, the Heat, know about his torn tendon in his middle finger on his left hand. Even saying that he was worried about how it would affect his passing and rebounding game. The Heat would be sure to take advantage of...

Much has been made about Scottie Pippen's comments regarding Lebron James being better than Michael Jordan. For one, it is incredibly puzzling that someone who played with Jordan during the Bulls' championship run, would think that Lebron James is going to be the greatest of all time. Was Pippen being...

College athletes need to receive some kind of compensation other than room and board. To start out, the football and basketball stars make a ridiculous amount of money for their respective universities. This past year Auburn's Cam Newton took the Tigers to the top winning the national championship. The university...
