Prediction Friday: Ravens get over road hump in Cleveland
We've seen this before with the Ravens. A big win at home. Then they go on the road and lose to what should be an inferior opponent. That can't happen for a fourt time this season, can it?
I don't think it does.
The Ravens know they have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs if they continue to win games.
How will this one go down?
The Ravens have rediscovered their running game since that 22-17 loss to Seattle in Week 10. That pattern will continue this week. The Browns' defense, although sixth overall, isn't very good against teams that run.
Also, the Browns have two injured safeties so quarterback Joe Flacco will take his shots with wide receivers Torrey Smith and Lee Evans.
For Baltimore's defense, I wouldn't expect anything less than what they did against the San Francisco 49ers. I don't think they'll get nine sacks, but I think they'll get Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy to turn the ball over a few times.
Even without Ray Lewis, the linebackers will harass McCoy and shut down running back Peyton Hillis. Sunday could end up being a very long evening for Cleveland.
The Ravens win this one 21-10.
