NASCAR sets 2012 Preview schedule
On Thursday, NASCAR released its schedule for the NASCAR Preview 2012 Presented by Sprint. The event is a new addition to the three-day NASCAR Acceleration Weekend to be held Jan. 20-22 in Charlotte.
The Preview will consist on driver appearances, show cars on display, racing simulators, games, prizes and other activities at the Charlotte Convention Center on Jan. 21.
Driver appearance times are as follows:
9:15 a.m. -- Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth
10:15 a.m. -- Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin
11:45 a.m. -- Brad Keselowski
12:15 p.m. -- Kevin Harvick and Greg Biffle
12:30 p.m. -- Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman
2:45 p.m. -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Juan Montoya
3:15 p.m. -- Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards and Kurt Busch
Other driver appearances from all three of NASCAR's national series -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck -- in addition to NASCAR Hall of Fame members are expected, and details will be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the NASCAR Preview are available by visiting ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets start at $10. A $20 combo ticket is available that includes admission to the Preview and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. There is also a $299 VIP weekend pass that includes admission to the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Jan. 20 and all other NASCAR Acceleration events.
