Here we are, the first Thursday night football game of the year. Carson Palmer has looked horrible so far this year. I think he should have stayed retired, but that's just me. If he doesn't turn it around soon this trade will go down as one of the worst in football history! The Chargers and their quarterback Philip Rivers haven't fared much better this year. Rivers has 14 int's and appears to have lost some velocity on his throws as well. Conventional wisdom says take the home team on short weeks like this. Even though San Diego is 2-6 ATS the spread this year, I have to believe they will have enough to cover, especially since Darren McFadden will be out for Oakland. Give up the Points and take the Chargers. (1 Unit)
