Stover to be honored Sunday
Longtime Ravens kicker Matt Stover will be honored before Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Stover, the kicker on Baltimore's Super Bowl XXXV championship team, retired after he spent the 2009 season with the Indianapolis Colts.
During the 2000 season, Stover carried the offense for a five game period. Those five games saw the Ravens not get in the end zone for 21 straight quarters. They went 3-2 during that period of time.
Stover, at least to me, is one of the most beloved Ravens of all time because of his clutch field goals.
