Ravens off to another slow start, behind 7-0 to Cincinnati
Baltimore's defense took the field first. It was without Ray Lewis, but caused a three-and-out. Then the recently maligned offense got on the field.
Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron called two runs to start the game. They gained eight yards, but the Ravens went three-and-out.
On the ensuing drive, rookie quarterback Andy Dalton hit Jerome Simpson on a 47-yard pass. Simpson made a great catch. That set up Cincinnati for the only touchdown of the game so far. Cedric Benson ran the ball in and the Bengals have a 7-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
