Ravens make roster move; Suggs wins award

The roster shuffling never stops. I swear.

Tuesday, the Baltimore Ravens claimed defensive back Emanuel Cook from the New York Jets. Cook should be able to help Baltimore's special teams, according to reports.

To make room on the roster, the Ravens waived linebacker Josh Bynes. Bynes was signed last week to provide depth for the Ravens at linebacker with Ray Lewis and Dannell Ellerbe ailing.

In other Ravens news, linebacker Terrell Suggs picked up a weekly award for his performance Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers.

Suggs has won the Defensive Player of the Week award, according to reports. Suggs had three sacks and forced a fumble in the Ravens' 16-6 victory.
