Eagles Jackson Benched - What's Next for the Nightmare Birds?

What is going on with the Eagles?  They are off to a bad start for sure but their season is not over and they can at minimum have a major impact on the NFC Playoff picture through the second half of the season.

DeSean Jackson is a great player but he does have a chip on his shoulder regarding his low pay scale.  Missing a meeting is a stupid move and does anyone believe that a clock radio is to blame?  In this era or modern communications it’s hard to believe.

This looks like a make or break move by Coach Reid who will be on the coaching hot seat if his star-studded and well pay team does not make the playoffs.  I said in August that I thought that the Eagles would be a great team in 2012 once all these new players jelled together.

Coach Reid is flexing his muscle now to keep his team’s head in the game.  If not the season and his job may get away from him.  The problem is that without Jackson they may not won today Kolb return or not.
