Cowboys Top Seattle 23-13 to Get Back to .500

Dallas_seattleA consistant QB Tony Romo with alot of help from non-fluke rookie running back DeMarco Murray took care of the stingy Seahawks.  This was a game the Cowboys needed to win and they did not disappoint.

The Cowboys did start out slow and were tied at the half 6 - 6 because Dez Bryant could not hold onto the ball as he tried to score with 6 minutes to go in the half.  The Seahawks were then able to come back down field and tie the game before halftime.

It again seems like Bryant, who had a decent game minus the goal line fumble, is just so close to having that breakout game that will make him a true superstar in the NFL.  He seems so close but just can't seem to get there.  He is not a rookie any more so he needs to put a solid 60 minute game together as he looks like he will be really special if he does.

Overall a win is a win is a win.  The Cowboys bounced back from their dreadful performance in Philadelphia which is good and they will now need to take the momentum into next week's game against the Buffalo Bills who will be a big test for the Cowboys.  The Cowboys will need to win to stay get above the .500 mark and back into the playoff hunt.

The season is now half over for the Cowboys. They are 4-4 which is not great but it is alot better than the 1-7 start they had last season.  Except for the game last week the Cowboys have been in every game this year which is an improvement to be sure.  The second half of the season will only get tougher but the Cowboys have shown that they can play with anyone.

The Cowboys will need to go 6-2 in the second half of the season if they are to have any chance at the playoffs.  This will be a tough, but not impossible, task for the Cowboys.  It looks like the Cowboys will be a playoff factor this season.

This is a great improvement by Coach Garrett and the Romo led Cowboys.
