I was very happy to get out of this losing streak and actualy break even for the weekend.  I am still in shock over everything that went down at Penn State this week.  I have to say that so far the University is doing all the right things.  It's sad to think Joe Paterno got fired, but he really could have done a whole lot more for those children.  Enough about that.  I don't have the time.  On to the picks.
 
 
Nebraska (-3) at Penn State
 
After what has happened this week, I don't know how Penn State can compete.  Their new coach has exactly 2 days to prepare for a very hard opponent.  Nebraska should be able to take advantage of this.  Give up the points ( 2 Unit )
 
 
UL-Lafayette (+11) at Arkansas State
 
The Ragin' Cajuns are 8-2 and 6-1 in the conference and they are 11 point dogs?  I'm not buying it.  take the points here.  I know Arkansas State is very good, but this game will stay close. ( 2 Units )
 
 
 
Oklahoma State (-17) at Texas Tech
 
I know State is number 2 now in the BCS for the first time in their history.  They are playing for a National Championship this year.  Texas Tech is playing spoiler now.  They did it to OU and they will be ready to do it again at home this week.  I don't think they will be so fortunate this time around, but will be able to hang closer than people think.  Take the points in this high scroing affair.
