All W's In November For the Dolphins

FinsDont look now Dolphins fans but the Miami Dolphins, after a wooping on the Buffalo Bills (35-8) today, have not lost in November and are on a 3 game win streak, their first since 2008. The Bills on the other hand have lost three straight. For a team that started the season 0-7, no one would have ever expected these Dolphins to come out these past few weeks and play like they have.

Quarterback Matt Moore was 14/20 with 160 yards but notched 3 touchdowns on the day. The first touchdown was a 1 yard pass to Anthony Fasano with 3:28 seconds left in the first quarter. Fasano finished the game with 2 carries and a total of 8 yards.

The Dolphins came out guns blazing and less than 2 minutes after Fasano's 1-yard touchdown Reggie Bush had a 5-yard run for a second. Bush finished the day with 32 yards rushing. Both Davonne Bess and Charles Clay had touchdowns in the game as well.

For the Dolphins this game was one for the record books and it is safe to say that this is definitely not the same Miami Dolphins we saw in week 1-7. One stat that made the books is the fact that the Dolphins have not allowed a touchdown in the past 12 quarters of play, with their last one coming in the fourth quarter their loss to the NY Giants.

Another record stat came in the the third quarter when Lex Hillard picked up a blocked punt by Chris Clemons on the goal line. The score became 35-6. The score on a blocked punt was Miami's first since 1990.

For Buffalo's quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick the game was not quite so exciting. He threw for a whopping 71 yards for the entire game and didnt have a single touchdown. Fitzpatrick has yet to win a game since signing a $59 million, six-year contract last month. He also has 12 turnovers in the past six games.

Buffalo's Fred Jackson was held to a bare 17 yards on seven carries, the most on the entire team on the day. Kind of pathetic for the teams leading rusher. In the game the Bills were also 0 for 14 on third- and fourth-down conversions, and by the third quarter their loss seemed irreversible. Buffalo's 8 points came from just two field goals and a fourth quarter safety. Not much to be proud of out of that.

The Miami Dolphins are hot and with the playoff's knocking on every teams back door i think its safe to say that nobody should count them out no matter how far fetched it may be for them to have a shot.

The Dolphins play Tony Romo and the Cowboys this coming Thanksgiving Thursday and if I were the Cowboys i would be just a little bit nervous. No telling what may come out of this very odd season for the Dolphins, but now more than ever Dolphins fans can put a smile on their face.
