Carson Palmer traded out of AFC North
Baltimore Ravens fans can rejoice Tuesday. The Cincinnati Bengals traded franchise quarterback Carson Palmer to the Oakland Raiders for a first-round pick in 2012 and a conditional first-round pick in 2013, according to multiple sources. Apparently, the condition for the Bengals to get a second first-round selection is if the Raiders win a playoff game this season or next season.
Palmer regularly beat the Ravens during his tenure with Cincinnati, going 9-4 against Baltimore.
The Ravens beat the quarterback last season in the last game, but they lost earlier in the season.
Cincinnati has appeared to move on with quarterback Andy Dalton, a second-round selection in the 2011 draft.
