Harbaugh confused about taunting penalties
There were two penalties in Baltimore's 30-27 come-from-behind victory over the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon. They were in the form of taunting calls.
Early in the game, safety Bernard Pollard finished off a hit on Arizona tight end Jeff King. Pollard stood over King to say something after the play. He was flagged for taunting. According to reports, Pollard was unhappy about the flag.
In the fourth quarter, Ray Rice gained seven yards on a first down and celebrated a little bit. Rice was flagged for taunting the defense.
At his press conference Monday afternoon, coach John Harbaugh was confused as to why each player was flagged for taunting their opponent, according to reports.
It'll be interesting to see the explanation Harbaugh gets for the penalties.
