Rollins should take a day, then come back to Phillies' lineup

Chase Utley, as we all know by now, suffered a possible concussion when hit by a pitch on the batting helmet on Wednesday at Citizens Bank Park against the Atlanta Braves. Utley hit

It was also reported that Utley will not make the trip to Milwaukee to see a specialist.

If you had to pick leaders of the team, it would be Jimmy Rollins, Utley and Ryan Howard.

It would be good to have at least two of them in the lineup at one time.

And an infield with Michael Martinez/Wilson Valdez at shortstop and Pete Orr at second, makes the Phillies weaker up the middle defensively.

You could go a game with that lineup and take your chances.

But it is time to keep the foot on the gas and put your best lineup out there.

Reports say the Phillies should ease Rollins back in the lineup.

Why activate him if he is not healthy?

A day of rest is reasonable.

He adds speed (28 stolen bases), some power, another right handed bat at the top of the lineup.

Keep it going.

Secure home field.

Take no prisoners.
