I was very happy with the big 5 unit weekend 2 weeks ago. It got me out of the little hole I dug. Again, sorry for not being around last week. I actually did rather well for myself, but just couldn't get to a computer! There's a lot more season to go and a lot more money to be made. I truly love a few games this week. There's a few lines I feel are off a little and a few games I think will be blow-outs. Let's get to this week's winners.
Buffalo ( -3 ) at Cincinnati
I love this game for 3 reasons. Everyone is on the Bills because of their hot start, you have a home underdog and Buffalo won't be as ready for this one because of their huge game last week. Cincy covers here, even though they are not the better team. ( 2 Units )
Washington ( -2 ) at St. Louis
Another great home underdog I love. Washington just got beat by a field goal kicker and have to play on the road again. If there's any week for The Rams to start playing well, this is the spot. Take the Points. ( 3 Units )
New England (-4.5) at Oakland
Last week I loved Oakland to cover. They did just that. This week they are at home against the Pats. Tom Brady and Company are coming off a bad loss to the Bills. New England lost a 21 point lead and Brady had 4 int's. That just doesn't happen to Tom Brady 2 weeks in a row. The Patriots will be ready to play and I don't think the Raiders stand a chance. Home or not. Give up the points here. ( 2 Units )
Miami ( +7 ) at San Diego
Miami has to be competitive this week or their coach is probably gone. The Chargers aren't impressing anyone this year. The fish keep it close. The Chargers win much like last week. By the skin of their teeth. ( 2 Units )
Denver (+12.5) at Green Bay
I've watched a lot of Green Bay this year. They (as a team) remind me alot of the 1998 Broncos. That year the Broncos started the season after a Super Bowl win and just dominated the NFL. This year's reigning Super Bowl champs are doing much of the same. Denver doesn't stand a chance this week. Green Bay, at home, by 4 touchdowns. Give up the points. ( 4 Units )
