LAUSD to layoff 227 elementary school library aides, several hundred office clerks, but no administrators
They say it is to save class sizes from increasing.
In reality they are saving the positions at the Beaudry building, the local district offices, and satellite offices like the one at La Brea and Coliseum in Los Angeles.
This is not for the students!
Superintendent Deasy has hired new administrators and is soliciting supporters for the district.
They have no heart, no conscience. They lay off people in the hardest economic times of our life. Meanwhile, the Beaudry building and the other district offices remain. As does the T.V. station and district cars. New, expensive tests. DIBLES, have been added this school year.
