Washington Football team NEED to get another mascot

It has been known for sometimes that the Washington football team's mascot(Redskins) is offensive and racist toward Native Americans. Some say its not offensive because it is just the name of a native american tribe. I am sorry to inform those people but that is horrible wrong. 
 

The Florida State Seminoles is the name of a Native American tribe and there is nothing wrong with that. 

And it is not just me who is up in arms about this. I am a black man, but there are many Native Americans as well who find the term, "Redskins" offensive. Many suits have been filed in attempts to get rid of the name for the team ,but none have prevailed. 

The team's mascot  is derived from the word "redskin," which White Europeans used to describe Native Americans during colonization.
