Frank McCourt to sell cars for Cal Worthington

(the following is fictional)

July 1, 2012, The Snorting News, Los Angeles, California. Frank McCourt having sold the Los Angeles Dodgers to a conglomerate of Eli Broad, Magic Johnson, and Orel Hershiser for $1 billion has been seeking a job. The $1 billion just covered his indebtedness and his back alimony to his ex-wife Jamie.

He needs money to continue his lifestyle and to pay monthly alimony. He tried for a position as a spokesperson for LAUSD but there were no openings. People sent him ideas like removing signs following yard sales. Then along came Cal.

Cal, who is now 91, wanted to be less active in his business. He offered Frank the chance to take over the T. V. commercials while meeting customers on the lot. He will be the face of the Worthington dealerships.

“Go see Frank.”
