What if, Los Angeles?

The General Motors factories in South Gate and Van Nuys were still open.

May Co, Bullocks, Robinsons, and the Broadway were in business.

Security Pacific and United California still had banks with headquarters downtown.

Hughes Aircraft and Douglas Aircraft made planes.

The Goodyear factory in South Los Angeles never closed.

The Rams and the Chargers never left Los Angeles.

Ford plants remained on Terminal Island, in Long Beach, and in Pico Rivera.

Fedco, Gemco, and White Front were in existence.

The Chrysler plant in Commerce was still there.

Hollywood shot all their productions in Los Angeles.

The aerospace and defense industry was still alive in Southern California.

Jobs and more jobs.
