NFL News; Poll Spells Trouble For NFL

A recent Adweek/Harris poll has some alarming news for the NFL; 19% of respondents said they would be unlikely to watch the sport this season if the start is delayed.  The season is slated to kick off on Thursday, September 8th with a matchup featuring the two most recent Super Bowl Champs. After the Packers and Saints take care of business the rest of the teams get it going on Sunday, September 11th----the ten year anniversary none the less.

The league, which is currently at an all time high in terms of popularity, faces a huge dilemma if they do not resolve their labor issues. My hope is that both sides will put their egos aside and get a deal done.

If not, they will pay a steep price.
