NFL News: Packers To Hold Ring Ceremony June 16

The World Champion Green Bay Packers will honor their players in a ceremony at legendary Lambeau Field on June 16th.

We're looking forward to having an evening for the players, coaches and organization to recognize the victory in Super Bowl XLV," Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy said in a statement posted on the team's official website. "It was an extraordinary season, and the players earned their rings in very exciting fashion. We're going to celebrate all the hard work that went into the championship. We’re excited for the evening."

This should be a very special night. The Green Bay Packers have a very special relationship with their fans and this will be huge news in Green Bay. You can certainly expect a very festive atmosphere.

By the way, how nice is it to have a story that doesn't mention the NFL lockout?
