NFL News: Draft Ratings Higher Then Expected

The NFL has reported that the 2011 draft was viewed by some 42 million people over the three days of the event. This is the second highest total ever for the annual college draft.

This is tribute to the off the charts popularity the sport currently enjoys. It was thought by many, including me, that many NFL fans would stay away due to anger over the lockout.

Yet, it was not the case. Lets hope that the owners and the players association are wise enough to realize what they have and not blow it!
