NFL News: Players To report To Work Today, Sort Of...
This one is a bit strange, with the temporary injunction filed against the owners, technically the lockout is over. While the owners scramble to get a stay of the injunction, thus allowing the lockout to continue, the players are planning on reporting to work today.
However, the league has advised the teams to not allow the players in the weight room. They have further advised the coaches not to have any contact with the players as that would imply their acceptance of the injunction.
So, the players will be in one part of the facility while all other team personnel (coaches, trainers, etc) will be in a seperate part.
As I said, very strange....
