NFL News: Keith McCants Arrested On Drug Charges

It is a sad but true part of our modern society that far too many former athletes seem to run afoul of the law. The latest example would be former Alabama standout and former Tampa Buccaneer Linebacker Keith McCants.

McCants was arrested on charges of Cocaine possesion and is currently being held on $4000 bail. Since retiring from the NFL McCants has seemed to have persistent troubles as this is not his first arrest. He has been jailed for prior drug charges as well as for writing bad checks.

The Bucs have been in the news for the wrong reasons lately as their assistant coach was recently arrested on DUI charges and cornerback Aqib Talib was recently arrested on assualt charges.

I am certain they cannot wait for actual football news down in Tampa....
