NFL Draft: Washington Redskins Round 1 Pick 16

Trading their 10th overall pick with the Jaguars, the Redskins use the 16th overall selection of the 2011 draft on Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan out of Purdue.

Kerrigan was a 2010 1st team AP All-American and is considered one of the top defensive players of this draft.  At 6'4" 267 pounds he has good size as a pass rusher.  He should be a good complement to the Redskins defense.
