NFL Draft: San Diego Chargers Round 1 Pick 18

With the 18th overall selection of the 2011 NFL draft, the Chargers select Defensive Tackle Corey Liuget out of Illinois.

Liuget was a 2010 All Big Ten with 125 tackles, 25.5 for loss and 8.5 sacks in 36 games. At 6'2", 298 pounds, Liuget has good size and speed, is athletic and agile enough to be a solid pass rusher.
