Kevin Correia Domonates The Cincinnati Reds

Correia (3-1 2.48) threw a four-hit complete game leading the Pirates to a 9-3 win over the Reds at Great American Ball Park.
The Pirates took three of the four games from the Reds and evened up their record at 8-8.

The Pirates pounded out 15 hits, including seven Bucs with two hits a piece. Andrew McCutchen, Matt Diaz, and Steve Pearce each had two RBI for.
Chris Heisey led what little offense the Reds had. With two out in the ninth he hit a shot to left. The homer was Heisey's second and came on a 0-1 pitch with Hernandez on first.
Reds starter Travis Wood (1-2 5.73) struggled through 3 1/3 innings allowing six runs on eight hits with one walk and three strikeouts. The Reds pen did not have much luck either, until Aroldis Chapman entered in the ninth.
Chapman had the last three games off to rest a tender elbow, worked a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. The rest appeared to do him good, he registered several pitches at 103 mph and the scoreboard readout clocked a pitch to Andrew McCutchen at 106 mph.
John Fay, Cincinnati Enquirer, reported Reds manager Dusty Baker is ready to move on.
"Let this series go," Baker said, "and move on to the next one. Hopefully, young Sam (LeCure) will pick us up tomorrow and get us straight before we get out of here. Not to take anything away from anybody else, but we didn't have Brandon (Phillips) for this series, Brandon will be back tomorrow."
The Reds host the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight at 7:10 p.m. Sam LeCure (0-0 2.25) with face the Diamondbacks right-hander Armando Galarraga (2-0 6.75).
