Can't Buy A Break
Right now, the Indianapolis Colts can't catch a break.
It seems like every week something goes wrong and they end up losing by a field goal.
Right now they're 6-6, and are in serious jeopardy of missing the playoffs for the first time since the 2001 season.
To win (consistently) in the NFL, it boils down to two things: talent and luck.
Even with all of the injuries, Indy is still very talented team.
But, they're just not lucky.
Last second field goals to the Jags and the Cowboys could (will) keep them out of the playoffs.
That being said, if the Colts can (somehow) run the table, get some of their stars back (Peyton can't do it all by himself), and win the AFC South- they'll make some noise in the playoffs.
Because any team with this much bad luck in the regular season is sure to have (some) good luck in the postseason.
