Defense Wins Championships

If somebody would've told me yesterday that the Indianapolis Colts were going to win today- and Peyton Manning was only going to throw for 185 yards...

I wouldn't have believed it.

Let's face it, the Colts defense is (usually) terrible.

Indy's allowed almost every running back they've played against to go over 85 yards and get into the end zone (at least) once.

But not today.

Today the Colts defense held Cedric Benson to 28 yards, the whole team only rushed for 75 yards total.

The secondary played well too. With three picks- including one by Kelvin Hayden that was returned for a touchdown.

But... The Colts don't look like champions (right now).

Which is to be expected since they're decimated by injuries.

But... If Indy can hold on until they get healthy- they should peak at the right time to make a (pretty serious) playoff run.
