Tennessee Titans: Chris Johnson May Take Short Term Deal

As we edge closer to training camp, one of the biggest stories for ESPN could be coming to a close. The "Chris Johnson Contract Controversy" has been flooding news outlets of every kind all summer. Now the rush is on for the Titans to get this deal worked out so Johnson will show up to camp. 

Johnson gave Titans' fans a beautiful gift on Wednesday night at the ESPY's by giving his personal ok to the short term contract fix the Titans proposed last week.

"I want a long-term deal," Johnson said. "But if I don't get a long-term deal then a short-term deal just to get me to camp -- I have no problem with that."

Now it is just up to his agent Joel Segal to get this deal ironed out and to get Johnson into camp.
