If you haven't heard the news in the past few days, the Senators have signed Derek Smith, and Roman Wick to one year two way contracts.



The Senators have been talking about Wick for sometime now, but nothing was official until a few days ago. Wick looked good at the Olympics, and Bryan Murray thinks he has a really good chance of cracking the Senators line up next season.



Derek Smith was also signed to the same deal. He has been playing with the baby Sens for some years now, and has had a few cups of joe with the the big club, but will be in tough to crack the Senators defence core for a full time spot next year.



In RFA talks, both Campoli and Regin have had dates set for their hearings of arbitration. I don't expect things to make it to the courts with Murray stating he will indeed speak with both parties before their hearings.
