SensChirp posted Friday that the Senators are showing interest in Eric Belanger.

I have looked into this all weekend with no success. It seems as if this is just a thought being tossed around right now, as the Senators are still possibly looking for some help down the middle.

Belanger put up a very reasonable 41 points last year switching cities between Minnesota and Washington. He would definitely help Spezza and Fisher run the middle, and also help the secondary scoring issue.

I'll keep my eye open for this one, and update when I get the information.
