Auburn Regional Update and Recruiting News

Game one of Today's regional is now underway between JSU and Southern Miss. The start time was 3:30, exactly an hour and a half past the original first pitch time. The Auburn vs. Clemson game will follow, approximately 50 minutes after the completion of game one. Auburn will send Grant Dayton (8-2, 4.33 ERA) to the mound to face Clemson's Casey Harman (6-2, 4.14 ERA).

Dayton leads the Tigers in wins, and pitched fantastic against USC in the SEC Tournament, though he was saddled with a no-decision in the extra inning contest.

Also, in a bit of recruiting news, we'll have updates on Manatee, FL running back Mike Blakely and in-state defensive back Chris Jones of Minor High. Both have Florida schools high on their list, but are they higher than Auburn? What are the odds Auburn lands them come National Signing Day? Check back later tonight.
