Welcome to Natitown News. Since I consider the Reds to be one of the more exciting and one of the up and coming teams in the NL Central I am thrilled to be here. We will have a lot of fun this season as this young team grows, begins to reach for its potential and rocks the central division with its young pitching, the hitting parade led by Jay Bruce and the relief core led by Lincoln. Yes, its going to be a exciting year in the town where the first professional team ever played.
On the blog we will of course cover the daily games. But on days off, during the off season and during rain outs we will explore the grand history of baseball in Cincy. The Reds have a long tradition and there is a lot of stats, great events and great victories to explore and relive. We will also cover trades, signings and our opinion of their affect on the team and its bright future. We will also cover much, much more, such as the series about the Original Cincinnati Reds which we post here soon.
Again, welcome to Natitown News!!! I hope you enjoy reading NN as much as I enjoy writing and putting together NN. The Reds are on the rise and its going to be a thrilling season in Cincinnati. So, belt yourself in and get ready for the year as the Reds make it known they are back and are serious about trying to make the playoffs. Go Reds!!!!

I look forward to following this site throughout the season!
