Over the past several years that could be applied to most AFC teams not named the New England Patriots... with three Championships in four appearances since 2002 this well run organization has become a target for most Americans who are forced to deal with owners coaches and the general managers of their favorite teams who for the most part shouldn't even be given the power to run a pop warner football team... you know who you are Al Davis...you even makes Dan Snyder look like a genius! But back to the Patriots before the start of the regular season they were the odds on favorite to win the Super Bowl... They were the team to beat, not the Giants who outplayed them in the XLII. But as we all know Down went Brady, Harrison, Maroney, Thomas, Webster, Williams and Wheatly and this Juggernaut suddenly looked like a team destined for an early vacation... But don't forget we have Belichick and another late round no name QB thrust into a starting job early in the season... eerily reminiscent of 2001-2002... when New England went 14-5 under the leadership of Tom Brady before he was "Tom Brady" History has already shown us what the Patriots can do... With Seattle this week... and Matt Hasselbacks spectacular 5 td 10 int season... followed by Davis glorious debacle aka Oakland... an Arizona team that is reverting to its old form... and the Bills who will probably be forced to use Losman... The Patriots find themselves positioned to finish 11-5 just far enough under the radar that only a few wont be surprised if they do again play for the championship...

Please would someone tell me why Phil Savage and A.J. Smith are still the GM's of their respective organizations... Smith come on ... if you have not figured it out yet Norv entering the 2008 season had a winning percentage of .442... He may be a decent coordinator but he is a terrible head coach compare to Schottenheimers .613 ... And what were you thinking letting turner get away don't tell me in his 4 years with the chargers you didn't see glimpses of greatness... thats why fantasy fans for years drafted him as a backup...and thats why he is on my team this year... and Phil come on did you go to the Davis school of etiquette ... go ahead and throw Crennel under the bus... maybe it will hit you on the way by...
