The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Aqib Talib

Remember to check out our homepage my team rivals

With the 20th overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Aqib Talib, corner back from Kansas. He is clearly one of the top three CB's in the draft, but comes with baggage.

The Denver Broncos select

Remember to check out our homepage my team rivals

With the  12th overall selection  of  the  2008 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos  select  Ryan  Clady, offensive  tackle  from  Boise  st.  He  is  a  very  good  player, but   the  Broncos  need  a  pass  rush.

On  the clock the Carolina Panthers

The Buffalo Bills select Leodis McKelvin

Remember to check out our homepage my team rivals

With the eleventh overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Leodis McKelvin, Corner back from Troy. The Bills desperately need secondary help, so not a bad pick.

With the tenth overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the New England Patriots select Jerod Mayo, linebacker from Tennessee. As always, the Patriots pick well. Mayo is smart and versatile and will fit in well with what the Pats do.

The Cincinnati Bengals select Keith Rivers

Remember to check out our homepage at my team rivals

With the ninth overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select Keith Rivers linebacker from USC. Great pick, the Bengals need defense, and Rivers can play. The only problem is I am not sure if Rivers has a rap sheet...

With the pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Derrick Harvey, defensive end from Florida. Not real sure what the Jags are thinking here. This player doesn't justify the high price (again, details to follow, but to jump from 22 to 8 isn't cheap).

The New York Jets select Vernon Gholston

Remember to check out our homepage my team rivals

With the sixth overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the New York Jets select defensive end Vernon Gholston from Ohio St. Very good pick (and for a change, Jets fans seemed happy). As  the  Jets  learned  from  their landlords (the New  York  Giants)  it  helps  to  have  a  pass  rush.

On the clock, the 18-1 New England Patriots...

The Kansas City Chiefs select Glen Dorsey

Remember to check out our homepage my team rivals

With the fifth overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select defensive tackle Glen Dorsey from LSU. Great pick, with his ability to control the line of scrimmage as well as get after the QB, he will be a big favorite in KC.

On the  clock, the  New  York  Jets....I always  love  the  Jets  fans  reactions...generally, it goes  like  this; boooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

The Oakland Raiders select Darren McFadden

Remember to check out our homepage my team rivals

With the fourth overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders select Running Back Darren McFadden from Arkansas. Great pick Al Davis. He will fit in perfect with the character issues surrounding him..you need those to be a successful Raider. But he will be a very good player for Oakland with his speed and skill. He will certainly take pressure of Demarcus Russell.

The Kansas City Chiefs are on the clock...

The Atlanta Falcons select Matt Ryan

Remember to chek out our home page my team rivals

With the third overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons select Quarterback Matt Ryan. I am not sure about this one. QB's drafted this high tend to become busts more often then not. Also, he won't have a heck of a lot of talent around him. I understand the desire to move past Mike Vick, but still, Football wise, I don't like it.

On the clock, the Oakland Raiders....this should be interesting.

The St.Louis Rams select Chris Long

Remember to check out our homepage  myteamrivals

With the second overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft, the St. Louis Rams select Chris  Long, Defensive End  from  Virginia.  Great  pick, they  need  pass  rush  and  a  player  with  some  attitude.  Howie's  kid  will  do  well  there.

On the clock, the Atlanta Falcons.
