Who would have thought that the Cowboys Special Teams would be going for a good record this season? After last season who knew. Credit must go to Special Teams Coach DeCamillis and the guys getting it done on special teams Patrick Crayton included. Crayton could have packed it in after being dropped to the number 3 receiver but instead he has manned up and made a big difference.
Crayton has returned a punt for a touchdown in each of the last two games. No professional player has ever returned a punt for a touchdown in three consecutive games.
Since 1941, only 13 players have had as many as three scoring punt returns in a season. Three players share the record of four punt returns for a touchdown in a season:
Hall of Famer Jack Christensen with Detroit in 1951
Denver's Rick Upchurch in 1976
Chicago's Devin Hester in 2007.
That’s nice company!

Well in fainess they did sign Rossum and demoted Crayton..Maybe it lit a fuse in him..Competition makes the cream rise..and he has looked pretty darn good..
